About the position

The Information Technology (IT) Project Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and management of various projects within the M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office (IEMO). This position is essential for ensuring that all projects align with the strategic goals and requirements of the organization. The IT Project Analyst will be responsible for analyzing project data, coordinating with various stakeholders, and providing insights that drive project success. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, with a focus on data analysis, risk management, and stakeholder communication. In this position, the IT Project Analyst will assist in the development of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. They will work closely with project managers and team members to ensure that all project timelines are adhered to and that resources are allocated effectively. A significant part of the role involves analyzing project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. The analyst will prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed of project status, changes, and key decisions. Risk management is another critical aspect of this role. The IT Project Analyst will identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. They will monitor project progress and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success. Additionally, the analyst will maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and security protocols. The IT Project Analyst will also support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions. Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in project management is essential for this role, as it will help drive the success of the projects undertaken by the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure alignment and adherence to project timelines.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all parties are informed of project status, changes, and key decisions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in project management.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project analysis, project management, or a related field
• Proven experience working on projects within a high-security environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is preferred.
