About the position

The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager at V2X is responsible for leading and delivering complex IT projects that span multiple functional areas. This role requires a strong focus on project leadership, execution, and governance compliance, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet defined success criteria. The position demands collaboration across various teams to manage interdependencies and risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to deliver IT projects across multiple functional areas and/or directorates.
  • Facilitate and implement all facets of project leadership including planning, execution, communications, and governance compliance.
  • Leverage resources, assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor project progression.
  • Summarize and deliver project status information to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ingest internal and external requirements and determine interdependencies.
  • Develop and define project success criteria, manage change, and mitigate/manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 10 or more years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and/or high-risk projects including Agile/Waterfall projects.
  • Ability to coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Ability to elicit and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management products.
  • Excellent communication skills on technical and non-technical matters.
  • Ability to track milestones, dependencies, tasks, and levels of effort accurately.
  • Ability to develop concept of operations and project management documentation.
  • Meet minimum credential requirements for Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) positions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Information Systems Management or equivalent.
  • Advanced ITIL certifications or training.
  • Understanding of Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense, and Department of Navy policies governing information technology.
