About the position

As an Information Technology Talent Acquisition Specialist at RP Professional Services, you will play a crucial role in the company's growth by recruiting top talent for technology roles across various federal customer portfolios. Your focus will be on priority accounts in Health, Homeland, and Defense sectors, ensuring that RP meets the diverse needs of its clients while building capacity in key areas such as software development and data analytics. This remote position requires occasional travel and emphasizes the importance of maintaining a robust candidate pipeline to support the company's expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technology positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Create and implement effective sourcing strategies and conduct market research to attract top IT talent.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance recruitment capabilities.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to assess and address talent acquisition needs, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
  • Communicate RP's value proposition to external talent markets, positioning RP as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, including managing expectations and guiding candidates through negotiations.
  • Guide the development and revision of job descriptions for technical roles.
  • Maintain a presence in technical and industry communities to enhance RP's visibility.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation in the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant military experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT recruiting, specifically in the government contracting industry.
  • Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions.
  • Strong understanding of technology roles and skills related to government contracting, particularly in Health, Homeland, and Defense sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter with knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship.
