About the position

Intercept Health is currently seeking an Information Technology Lead to be responsible for the day-to-day management and reliable operations of all aspects of company-wide maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer-based systems. The IT lead has management oversight and participates in the research, purchase and installation of hardware, software, and associated ancillary equipment. The IT lead focuses on industry standards and continuous improvements to keep the business systems, and the needs of the organization aligned. The IT lead also actively resolves and oversees problems and issues with computer-based systems to limit work disruptions within the company and focuses a keen eye on protecting critical information, systems, and assets. With team oversight, the lead builds solutions, provides training, and works with the IT Manager in the development of an overall IT strategy. The IT lead will also oversee and assist the team in helping to empower breakthrough innovations, organize and distribute challenging assignments, initiatives, and share ownership and responsibility with the IT Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of computer-based systems.
  • Oversee maintenance and configuration of IT systems.
  • Participate in the research, purchase, and installation of hardware and software.
  • Resolve and oversee problems with computer-based systems.
  • Protect critical information, systems, and assets.
  • Build solutions and provide training to team members.
  • Assist in the development of overall IT strategy with the IT Manager.
  • Empower innovations and organize challenging assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Administration/Management, helpdesk/support, network administration, or related role.

Nice-to-haves

  • CompTIA A+, Net+, Security+, CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft Admin., and Cyber Security Certifications preferred.
  • 4-7 or more years of experience in IT Administration, helpdesk/support, or related experience.
