About the position

Under general direction of the Chief of Departmental Strategic Governance, Risk, and Compliance (DSGRC) Chief, the Information Technology Manager I (IT Mgr I) serves in the Business Technology Domain as the IT Strategic Manager. This Section is comprised of the Strategic Governance, Business Intelligence, and Internal Policy Management groups. The incumbent develops policy and strategic plans for CDT's Internal Information Technology Services' (IITS) ability to serve customers. The incumbent establishes long range activities for the IITS including succession planning. The incumbent monitors and evaluates strategic governance, internal policy and program performance using data-driven metrics; engages in close collaboration with executive staff, division management, and other key stakeholders to ensure the IITS meets performance objectives, drives value to business outcomes across the IITS and CDT. The incumbent is a senior member of the IITS management team. The IT Mgr I contributes toward the evolution of IITS into a customer-focused, business driven, service delivery organization by modeling CDT core values, and by offering constructive feedback to others in the IITS regarding the adoption of those values.
