About The Position

The Information Technology Manager (Banner Programmer Analyst) at Arkansas State University is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the University's ERP System, Banner. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology, business administration, or related field.
• Three years of experience in system analysis, telecommunications, information technology, information security, or related field.
• Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL) and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
• Ability to analyze data, problem solve, work independently, multi-task, and set task priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with administrative computing functions.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or collaboratively on software development projects in a database environment.
• Write, test, and debug computer programs and create program documentation using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Information and Technology Services department and other departments, students, staff, and faculty.
• Maintain current knowledge of information systems related to administrative computing functions.
• Develop, augment, and maintain a fully-integrated administrative computing information system.
• Organize and manage various tasks/projects under changing deadlines and re-organize priorities as needed.
• Serve in multiple roles such as project lead, analyst, developer, tester, and trainer.
