The Information Technology Officer (Chief Information Security Officer) position is a critical role within the Information Technology and Systems Department, specifically in the Infrastructure Division 1. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the Judiciary's information security program, ensuring that all information systems are secure, functional, and compliant with regulatory requirements. The CISO will identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks, aligning these with the Judiciary's risk posture. This role requires proactive collaboration with other divisions and Judiciary programs to implement security practices that adhere to defined policies and standards. As the Chief Information Security Officer, the incumbent will oversee various IT-related risk management activities, lead the development and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and support the Director of the Information Technology and Systems Department in assurance activities related to the integrity and confidentiality of information. The CISO will work closely with senior management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization, ensuring that the information security program is robust and effective.
