About the position

The Information Technology Project Manager is a remote role responsible for supporting complex integrated facilities management systems for clients of Compass Group North America. This position involves working cross-functionally with operations teams and third-party vendors, ensuring effective project management processes, communication, and task assignment. The role requires a strong focus on client experience and project delivery, utilizing various technology platforms to manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and positive client experience
  • Communicate proactively with Clients, Operators, and ESFM Technology team
  • Partner with relevant cross-functional teams to set up program for success including capturing action items from meetings and providing regular status reporting
  • Track, update, and manage project plans as tasks are completed, ensure handoff & communication to keep implementations moving forward
  • Develop project schedules and timelines, identify, and track dependencies, and provide visibility into the team's progress in delivery projects predictably and with quality
  • Ensure all projects process steps are followed to execute implementations in a complete and organized manner
  • Act as liaison between ESFM Technology team, Operations Teams, and Clients to ensure support and escalations are handled in an effective and timely manner
  • Assist in scheduling cadence meetings, trainings, etc. as needed
  • Lead conference calls and meetings as needed for projects in an organized manner
  • Escalate platform related issues, platform enhancement opportunities, and feedback provided
  • Manage delivery expectations with clear and consistent communication around timing and delivery
  • Lead IT critical initiatives and operational planning to achieve business objectives
  • Translate strategies into specific tasks, action plans and deliverables
  • Develop and document operations standards for technology solutions
  • Quickly evaluate and prioritize projects based on changes in needs, resources, roadblocks, and deadlines
  • Anticipate risks and successfully develop and drive mitigation plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of current experience within an Information Technology team
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of technology project management experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting deadlines
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills characterized by technical acumen, clarity, and brevity
  • High sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to quality
  • Effective organization, collaboration, planning, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to translate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in Business Process Improvement/Redesign
  • Experience in designing project plans, resource management, managing dependencies, and timelines

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management certification preferred
  • ITIL certification preferred
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, Nuvolo, Poly, SmartInspect, Maintenance Connection, Teams, Google Looker, LMS, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality or FM industry a plus
