About the position

As an IT Project Manager in the Care Management organization of a Fortune 50 health insurance client, you will oversee critical projects related to Medicare and app development. This role is essential for ensuring compliance, managing sensitive timelines, and delivering high-quality results. You will be responsible for project management, resource planning, and addressing roadblocks while keeping leadership informed through bi-weekly executive updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage critical technology projects across value streams, focusing on Medicare and app development.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, manage sensitive timelines, and track progress on critical assessments and compliance reports.
• Oversee project management activities, including resource planning, budget tracking, and forecasting.
• Work closely with technical teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to track delivery timelines and resolve roadblocks.
• Provide regular bi-weekly updates to executive leadership on project status and challenges.
• Utilize Jira and Azure DevOps for project tracking and management; familiarity with Power BI is preferred.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Medicare/Medicaid or health insurance projects.
• Strong background in resource planning, budget tracking, and forecasting.
• Technical expertise in working with app development teams and understanding technical requirements.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies; SAFe certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within enterprise-level companies.
