About the position

The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager oversees all aspects of technology projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. Responsibilities include managing scope, cost, schedule, staffing, vendors, and deliverables. Key duties involve developing detailed project plans, monitoring milestones, generating status reports, evaluating and managing risks, and incorporating quality standards into deliverables. The IT Project Manager assists department leadership in planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of project management for current and future SACH technology projects and clinics. This role requires interfacing with technology users, employing tact and diplomacy to maintain a positive departmental image. The IT Project Manager adopts project management methodologies to resolve issues professionally. Travel and after-hours work may be required to meet with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel and provide support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service excellence utilizing people, processes, and technology on all projects.
• Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects according to established Project Management Methodology.
• Facilitate collaboration among interdisciplinary teams and coordinate resource allocation.
• Develop detailed project plans for monitoring progress.
• Work with Business Owners to define project objectives and oversee quality control.
• Interact regularly with project leadership, senior management, and key stakeholders.
• Make management presentations, submit reports, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Analyze data, interpret processes and needs, and make recommendations.
• Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, and other documentation for infrastructure projects.
• Assist the IT Director / CIO in negotiating with vendors and contractors.
• Create and communicate project plans, schedules, budgets, and assign tasks.
• Clear roadblocks, escalate challenges, and provide status reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time and meet quality standards.
• Work in tandem with key stakeholders, management, and customers/end-users.
• Design product development 'sprints' and manage post-launch activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Valid CA Driver's License and auto insurance.
• PMP and Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• Five (5) years of IT experience with a minimum of two (2) years as a Project Manager or supervisor capacity required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude in understanding and coordinating IT systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members.
• Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
