About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Project Manager to join our team and drive our projects to success. These projects are primarily supply chain-based projects but also include IT projects of all sorts with the primary emphasis being placed on applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Utilize Jira for project tracking, task management, and team collaboration.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the automotive industry with an Associate's degree (2-year degree) in a relevant field.
  • OR Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the automotive industry. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • OR At least 1 year of experience with automotive production control systems, exposure to project management and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Jira.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Participation in project management courses.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Master certification or Jira certification.
  • Experience working within a PMO.
