Under the supervision of a Director, the Information Technology Project Managers will plan, initiate, and drive information technology projects. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United States based on manager approval. The role involves reviewing requirements specifications for defects, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security. The project manager will also plan process and technology improvement projects and collaborate on execution, evaluate research data for appropriate resource allocation, and assess vendor or consultant needs for projects. Tracking performance and quality metrics for information technology projects is essential, as is collaborating on assigned duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority with project personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Review requirements specifications for defects, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security.
  • Plan process and technology improvement projects and collaborate on execution.
  • Evaluate research data for appropriate resource allocation.
  • Evaluate vendor or consultants for project needs.
  • Track performance and quality metrics for information technology projects.
  • Collaborate on assigned duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority with project personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • 2 years of experience with building IT development plans and executing quality assurance and testing for engineering teams.
  • 1 year of experience with analyzing and documenting technical requirements for software systems.
  • 1 year of experience with performing A/B testing.
  • 1 year of experience with developing backend services to upgrade complex legacy systems.
  • 1 year of experience with Agile, AWS, Docker, DynamoDB database, ElasticSearch, Fusion (Racket), Go, Grafana, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Postman, Prometheus, Python, React, React Native, Ruby, SNS, SQS, and TypeScript.
