About the position

Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 3, SG23, within Dedicated Support/OPWDD, the incumbent will work in the OPWDD PowerApps unit and be part of a team responsible for remediation of legacy Citrix applications to newer technologies like Microsoft PowerApps. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform coding, testing, and debugging activities in accordance with design specifications, agency standards, and test plans, Perform software maintenance activities, including remediation, software upgrades and enhancements, Participate and assist in the development of high-level conceptual design as well as detailed design specifications for new application systems or enhancements to existing applications, Prepare ad hoc reports in response to user needs, Diagnose and troubleshoot application software problems as they occur to minimize application downtime, Develop and maintain OPWDD applications using PowerApps, Create and maintain user and system documentation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science.
  • A bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field and one year of experience in information technology.
  • 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of professional experience in information technology.
  • Two years of professional experience in information technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerApps.
  • Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting application software problems.
