About the position

The Information Technology Specialist at Cinema West Management Company is a full-time role focused on overseeing and aligning the organization's technology resources with its strategic objectives. This position is essential for ensuring the reliability, security, and optimization of IT systems to support business operations across multiple locations in California and Idaho. The specialist will provide technical support, manage network systems, implement data security measures, and lead IT projects, contributing significantly to the company's technological initiatives and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems, ensuring system integrity and security.
  • Ensure all IT systems are operating smoothly and efficiently, providing prompt troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain and optimize network hardware and software to ensure smooth connectivity, high availability, and security across all systems.
  • Implement and enforce data security measures, manage backup systems, and conduct regular security audits to protect customer and business information.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including hardware/software upgrades, system migrations, and technology rollouts across theatre locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, procedures, and support tickets for future reference and audits.
  • Conduct training sessions and create resources to help users understand and optimize their use of IT systems.
  • Represent the IT perspective on projects and processes, providing technical guidance, training, planning, and support for business stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing service level agreements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in IT support.
  • Excellent network skills such as managing IT server room, network switch/firewall.
  • Experienced computer troubleshooting skills (Windows 10/11).
  • Possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Well known security camera system experience is preferred.
  • Retail or theater related IT support experience is preferred.
