About the position
The Information Technology Specialist at Triumvirate Environmental is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, and providing technical support to users. This role ensures that technology functions smoothly within the organization, supporting various sectors including higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing. The position emphasizes a culture of growth, development, and creativity, and is fully on-site in Somerville, MA.
Responsibilities
- Image laptops, maintain inventory tracking and respond to hardware requests.
- Learn and master the technology solutions that Triumvirate relies on, including Office 365, in-house applications, Active Directory, Printers, Scanners, and more.
- Train, teach and coach colleagues on how to utilize our technology.
- Assist in the documentation of internal IT processes and policies.
- Interact with internal employees at all levels and regions of the company.
- Keep up to date with the latest technological news and advancements, with support for certifications.
- Maintain detailed notes in our ticketing and documentation systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred
- Industry certifications preferred (Microsoft, CompTIA, ISC2)
- Strong attention to detail and an appetite for continual learning
- Must be passionate about technology and looking to make an impact on our organization
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
