About the position

The Information Technology Systems Support Specialist (ITSSS) is responsible for providing on-site support for Management Information Systems (MIS) at customer locations. This role focuses on addressing the IT needs of a specific customer while adhering to standards set by the Department of Technology. The ITSSS will also assist with support at other customer sites as necessary, ensuring effective troubleshooting and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-site MIS support at customer locations.
  • Resolve hardware and software issues for second-level Service Desk support tickets.
  • Provide remote assistance with DUO, NetMotion, and network resource connectivity.
  • Deploy MECM GUI and Headless images, and manage software deployments.
  • Update hardware and software assignments in the Manifest.
  • Assist users with operating systems, application programs, utilities, and hardware operations.
  • Image, install, and move IT-related equipment.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory or other identity management systems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Windows systems.
  • Good verbal and writing skills for customer interaction and documentation.
