About the position
The Infotainment Validation Specialist will coordinate testing activities for connected infotainment systems, ensuring that test schedules align with project needs and timelines. This role involves resource management, communication with project teams in both the US and Germany, and problem-solving to support the development of infotainment systems.
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains project schedules for each project to ensure on-time deliveries of test results to customers
- Allocates test assets and testers to activities on a daily basis to ensure successful delivery of results
- Builds and maintains strong connection to project counterparts in Germany and US
- Assists with root causes of problems issues
- Supports with analysis of infotainment topics during ID4 pre-series and series programs at the Chattanooga Factory
Requirements
- 5-8 years of related engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with developing automotive electrical control modules
- Building up of work schedules and activities to meet the timelines of infotainment test projects
- Firm grasp of balancing resources (test assets and labor) to meet the test requirements of the various projects
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with developing infotainment systems, architectures, and system interconnects
- Experience specifying SW Architectures and Features
- Experience in connected services and connected application development
- German skills written and verbal are advantageous
