About the position

The Infra Tech System Center Lead Analyst at Citi is responsible for assisting with LAN/WAN and help desk administration activities, focusing on network maintenance, technical guidance, and security. This role aims to leverage infrastructure technology knowledge to process data, resolve issues, and execute administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strategic direction to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Create complex project plans and perform impact analyses.
  • Solve and work on high impact problems/projects, providing resolution to restore services.
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service.
  • Design testing approaches, complex processes, and reporting streams.
  • Assist with the automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Provide technical/strategic direction to team members.
  • Review requirement documents and define hardware requirements.
  • Update processes and procedures as necessary.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct project-related research.
  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in infrastructure delivery roles (application hosting and/or end user services).
  • Proven track record of operational process change and improvement.
  • Experience using System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Strong Powershell scripting experience.
  • Basic SQL query generation experience.
  • Experience testing new deployments.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerBi, QlikSense, or Tableau.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Bitbucket/Github, ServiceNow, and SLTN.
  • General understanding of SDLC/ETLC concepts and processes.
  • Ability to develop projects for metrics design, analytical tools, and benchmarking activities.
  • Ability to work with virtual/in-person teams under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills.
