About the position

The Infrastructure Automation Engineer will be a key member of the Infrastructure Automation team at a leading financial services company. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automation solutions to enhance productivity within internal teams. The engineer will primarily work with Python and SQLAlchemy to create RESTful software and will also utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful software using Python and SQLAlchemy.
• Create modules and configurations using Terraform to support Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to release automation solutions and self-service capabilities.
• Engage in all steps of the software development life cycle to improve processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy ORM.
• Knowledge of Flask framework.
• Familiarity with Paramiko for SSH connectivity.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Strong command of Linux Command Line.
