About the position

The Infrastructure Cloud Automation Engineer will be a key member of a global team responsible for delivering and supporting technology infrastructure to accommodate the rapid growth of the business. This role involves collaborating with various engineering teams to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment, focusing on the deployment of new equipment and upgrades to hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Systems, Network, Database, and Storage Engineers to deliver technology infrastructure solutions.
• Implement automated tools and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation using major scripting languages.
• Support the deployment of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
• Document technical processes and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience with a focus on DevOps best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Strong passion for building tools and systems that empower developers.
• Experience in implementing automated tools and frameworks.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Understanding of database infrastructure including Oracle RAC, Linux, SAN, and networking concepts.
• Strong Linux system administration and/or Oracle database administration skills preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and deliver high-quality code in an agile environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and technical documentation skills.
• A related technical degree is required.
• Experience with Java-based applications is preferred.
