As a Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the software development and deployment processes within the intelligence community (IC). Responsibilities

  • Design and architect efficient cloud solutions to automate software deployment processes.
  • Streamline the software development life cycle using cloud-native managed services.
  • Lead the integration of open-source tools and infrastructure as code practices.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment mechanisms for critical applications.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance the speed of mission-critical operations.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to develop enterprise solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with designing, developing, deploying, or testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) including tools like EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions.
  • Experience with microservices and containerization, including orchestration and cluster management using Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in the Cloud.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and SAM.
  • Experience in securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containers.
  • Knowledge of application management for high availability and resilient solutions.
  • Experience with application performance analysis and monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Experience with Agile release methodologies.
  • Master's degree in Technology or Business.
  • Possession of Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification.
