About the position
Fluor is seeking a new graduate for the Infrastructure Construction Engineering Specialist position in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves providing technical guidance and support on the I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South project, which aims to enhance one of the most congested corridors in Texas by adding elevated lanes and interchanges. The position emphasizes compliance with quality objectives and project requirements while fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the jobsite by offering technical guidance to craft and staff to fulfill project requirements.
- Receive and distribute project design documents.
- Perform surveillance/examinations to ensure that quality objectives are being met for the project.
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems of varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Recent graduate in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Understanding of construction engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze technical documents and provide recommendations.
