About the position

The Infrastructure DevOps Engineer position at ARKA Group L.P. involves working closely with a talented team to deliver complex software applications into operations. The role requires a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, automated testing, and deployment pipelines. The position is open to applicants at varying experience levels and emphasizes the importance of effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex software applications into operations.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to produce results quickly.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles in development.
  • Implement containerization and automated testing processes.
  • Manage deployment pipelines effectively.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or CASP)
  • Effective cross-organizational communication skills
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Knowledge of deploying and troubleshooting in Cloud Environments (preferably AWS)
  • Understanding of networking and best practices
  • Experience navigating Linux systems
  • Experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters (RKE, EKS, etc.)
  • Experience using Helm charts for software deployment to Kubernetes clusters.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fully adjudicated CI Polygraph
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with virtual teams
  • Experience with Automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with application and OS level security (e.g., remediating Nessus scan results)
  • Experience in operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality.
