As a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer Staff, you will play a crucial role in creating designs and architecture that support cross-domain business capabilities. This enterprise role involves collaboration with engineers and business users across all lines of business, working closely with technologists from various domains and the Chief Technology Office. Your focus will be on developing architecture for data and analytics platforms and applications, which may include on-premise, private, and public cloud solutions. You will be responsible for intentional architecture and will provide mentorship on emergent architecture to technical teams. In this position, you will have hands-on experience in cloud architectures, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, and a deep interest in broad enterprise platforms and cloud patterns. Your responsibilities will include creating, modifying, and maintaining infrastructure and individual system components that enable business functions and IT services. You will balance availability, security, efficiency, and functional requirements to provide optimized production services. Additionally, you will identify and manage existing and emerging risks stemming from business activities, ensuring these risks are effectively identified and escalated for measurement, monitoring, and control. We offer a flexible work environment that requires you to be in the office four days a week, with positions available in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, or Phoenix, AZ.
