About the position
The Infrastructure IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in Hyatt's Hotel Openings and Transitions team, collaborating with the Field Technology Services team to ensure successful project execution. This position focuses on enhancing Hyatt's hospitality services through effective project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement, while promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Field Technology Services team to manage hotel openings and transitions.
- Communicate effectively with owners, owner's representatives, and consultants regarding project requirements and design standards.
- Maintain detailed meeting minutes and documentation for all project-related communications.
- Develop professional presentations and documentation for stakeholders, including Owners, Operators, and Leadership.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills.
- Travel to meet stakeholders and conduct property site visits as needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Hotel IT experience or IT Network Infrastructure Design experience.
- Strong understanding of Hyatt's design standards and ability to communicate these effectively.
- Excellent communication and writing skills for documentation and presentations.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Associate degree or greater in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with blue reviews for Low Voltage, MATV, and CCTV systems.
- Training or certification as a Project Management Professional.
- Experience with hospitality systems.
- Fluency in Spanish.
