About the position

As an Infrastructure Network Specialist at Merz Therapeutics, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the networking infrastructure across the Americas. This position involves collaboration with global team members and external partners to support Group IT Infrastructure & Services, contributing to business objectives, and participating in various projects. The role emphasizes building an inclusive culture and fostering individual growth while working towards common goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing partnerships to maintain, support, and design Merz global standard infrastructure solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and support networking solutions.
  • Manage Cisco LAN switching and routing, Cisco WIFI wireless LAN controllers, FortiGate SD-WAN, FortiGate firewalls, and cloud-hosted firewalls.
  • Maintain global security standards applied to all services.
  • Support OT Firewall for manufacturing locations, network segmentation, and VLAN configuration.
  • Provide local building cabling support and design.
  • Support services for Cisco Webex and Call Manager, integrating with Microsoft Teams for voice and video collaboration.
  • Support and maintain internet security and remote access solutions, aligning with global security standards.
  • Operate as Tier 3 support for technical issues within the environment, including partner interactions to solve issues.
  • Establish and maintain high standards in documentation, SLA's, and ticket management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, or other applicable field of study (preferred).
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or equivalent preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cisco Room Kit solutions integration with Cisco and Microsoft Teams environments.
  • Familiarity with firewall policies based on application requirements.
