About the position

The Infrastructure Operations Engineer - Automation at CVS Health is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services. Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains cloud architecture patterns, reference architectures, and design principles
• Ensures strict adherence to cloud architecture standards, schematic protocols, and best practices
• Optimizes resource allocation, scaling, and configuration to meet performance requirements
• Establishes technical documentation, such as runbooks and cloud-based standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Defines and enforces cloud security policies, controls, risk mitigation protocols, and best practices
• Coaches junior team members by sharing cloud engineering knowledge and providing technical guidance for skills development
• Seeks opportunities for professional development and certification in cloud-related domains

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing cloud infrastructure solutions
• 3+ years of experience implementing automation techniques and DevOps practices to streamline cloud operations
