About the position

The Infrastructure Project Coordinator SME will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing infrastructure IT projects and operations, particularly in environments similar to DISA-J6. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, as well as experience in mission-critical infrastructure maintenance and incident response. The coordinator will work closely with management to ensure continuous operation and efficiency of infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage infrastructure IT projects and operations.
• Oversee mission-critical infrastructure maintenance and incident response.
• Evaluate and establish facility requirements for infrastructure.
• Translate high-level functional and technical requirements based on user interactions.
• Manage execution of Data Center Consolidations and Application Migrations.
• Document risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with management.
• Experience in planning, directing, and managing infrastructure IT projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with mission-critical infrastructure maintenance.
• Understanding of critical building systems and redundancy levels.
• Knowledge of industry standards related to infrastructure operations.
• Experience in operating and maintaining enterprise-level infrastructure.
• Expert knowledge in translating functional and technical requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Pentagon experience preferred.
• Experience with energy use and reduction opportunities in infrastructure.
