The Infrastructure Project Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and directing infrastructure IT projects and operations within an organization similar in size to DISA-J6. This position requires a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with the highest levels of management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, directing, and managing infrastructure projects, particularly in mechanical and electrical systems. The role demands a clear understanding of critical building systems, levels of redundancy, and the key technology components that interact within the infrastructure environment. A basic understanding of network design is also essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring continuous operation while responding to incidents and performing maintenance. This includes evaluating and establishing facility requirements, managing the execution of Data Center Consolidations, and overseeing Data Center and Application Migrations. The candidate must possess expert knowledge in translating high-level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community, as well as experience in modernizing and sustaining enterprise classified infrastructure, including cabling, networking, and power. Additionally, the role requires a strong understanding of energy use and reduction opportunities within infrastructure, as well as knowledge of industry-accepted standards and best practices related to infrastructure operations, server room consolidation, networking, passive cabling, and electrical maintenance. The candidate must also have experience with risk management strategies, documenting risks, assumptions, and constraints to understand project limitations. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this position.
