Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware systems in a Linux environment.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on rack-mounted systems.
- Manage software RAID arrays using mdadm, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Implement basic security practices for Linux servers, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Design resilient and maintainable hardware systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Linux, specifically with distributions such as Ubuntu and CentOS.
- Proficiency in RAID levels and hardware recovery procedures.
- Experience with storage solutions on Linux via USB, SATA, and PCIe.
- Understanding of gRPC and GraphQL for service communication and API design.
- Knowledge of basic security practices for Linux servers.
