About the position
The Infrastructure Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and expertise in managing and maintaining infrastructure systems. This role requires proficiency in Linux, Go programming, and various configuration management tools, ensuring seamless integration and operation of systems within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for infrastructure systems.
- Manage and maintain Linux distributions, particularly Ubuntu.
- Develop and debug Go code for system integration.
- Utilize shell scripting for automation and system management.
- Implement and manage continuous integration systems, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure effective configuration management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Linux administration, with proficiency in Ubuntu.
- 4+ years of experience in Go programming, including reading, writing, and debugging code.
- 5+ years of experience in shell scripting and debugging.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
- Experience with continuous integration systems and configuration management.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience with GitHub and Git.
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure support.
