About the position

The Graphic Designer position at initiate-it is a part-time role that offers the potential to transition into a full-time position. The designer will be responsible for creating innovative graphic assets and collaborating with the digital team to execute advertising campaigns for a diverse range of clients. This role emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and the development of compelling visual elements across various marketing materials.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of compelling visual elements for various marketing materials, including paid ads, social media posts, email campaigns, landing pages, motion graphics, and printed materials.
• Collaborate with the digital team to conceptualize and execute full advertising campaigns.
• Actively participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions.
• Conduct independent research to inform design decisions.
• Develop branded presentations.
• Ensure design consistency across all advertising channels.
• Conceptualize and design brand identities and collateral.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Advertising, Design, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in creative design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Experience with content management systems like WordPress (preferred).
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
• Thrives in a collaborative environment while also working independently with initiative.
