About the position
The Injection Mold Process Technician is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the injection molding process, ensuring optimal operation of machinery and adherence to quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of molding principles and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold press maintenance and operation.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand complex molding related concepts and principles.
- Perform mold press maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain mold temperature controllers.
- Manage material feed systems from silo to hopper.
- Assist the Molding Process Engineer and Senior Mold Diagnostic Technician with various duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a molding environment.
- Molding Processing Certification RJG Essential/Master Molder I or comparable training.
- Experience with hydraulic and servo-controlled systems.
