About the position
The Injection Shift Technician position at Resilux America is a technical role focused on troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, specifically plastic injection molding machines. The technician will work closely with engineers and production staff to optimize processes and ensure quality and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine and process issues.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on machines.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize processes.
- Conduct quality inspections and document results.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in training new technicians as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Proven experience in plastic injection molding operations.
- Strong understanding of molding processes and machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
