This position will be part of the ICE regional group for Chassis and ICE products and will be responsible for activity and support for direct injection processes. The purpose for the position will be to support activities to establish equipment, processes, and quotations for programs related to direct injection products. Overall requirements of the position are to ensure that production equipment runs to equipment specification and produces products based on the product specifications, and customer requirement, including ensuring that equipment is verified and qualified for mass production utilization. This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the manufacturing processes, a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international.
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment specifications to produce products and align with regional requirements.
- Confirm that equipment is installed and meets required specifications.
- Develop equipment according to specifications and product design requirements.
- Ensure that equipment is safe to utilize for all associates.
- Confirm that all product requirements are met through online testing, including the verification (daily and validation).
- Maintain and improve direct injection machinery.
- Design parts to improve operations and efficiency of the line.
- Assist other departments in setting up testing trials/experiments for customer/internal troubles, including countermeasure activity as needed.
