About the position

The Innovation Catalogue Development Intern will assist the Innovation Institute in developing a comprehensive database that documents past and ongoing projects, focusing on the metrics and outcomes of nearly $100 million in investments in the Massachusetts technology economy. This role is designed for detail-oriented individuals who are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from relevant degree programs, providing hands-on experience in data management and technology program operations.

Responsibilities

  • Building out the Innovation Catalogue of Programs by developing and centralizing information on past and current projects.
  • Identifying and documenting program details of completed investment contracts from the Innovation Institute's history.
  • Reviewing program reports to identify and record relevant metrics from these programs.
  • Developing a database for tracking details of existing programs, including metrics, progress reports, and timelines.
  • Producing reports from the cataloged data to inform various audiences about the Innovation Institute's investments and impacts.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program or graduate program, or have 2-4 years of post-secondary school work experience in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient or a fast learner in Microsoft Office 365 tools; familiarity with Airtable is a plus.
