About the position

Bellingham High School is seeking 4 dedicated and collaborative educators to join the Innovation Pathways Grant Team. This stipend position offers a unique opportunity to support the development and execution of grant-funded initiatives aimed at expanding career pathways and providing students with opportunities for hands-on learning in high-demand industries. Team members will work together to research, apply for, and manage grants that align with the district's goals for career exploration, industry partnerships, and student success.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to identify potential grant opportunities and assist in writing, editing, and submitting grant proposals that align with the goals of the Innovation Pathways Program.
• Contribute to the design and development of new programs and initiatives that are funded through grants, ensuring they meet the needs of students and align with current industry trends.
• Help gather data to evaluate the success of grant-funded programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Advocate for the grant-funded initiatives within the school and broader community, raising awareness of opportunities for students to engage in career-focused learning.
• Follow all Bellingham School Committee policies, district guidelines, and specific requirements of each grant.

Requirements

• Current teacher or staff member at Bellingham High School preferred.
• Experience with grant writing, program development, or career-focused education is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with current trends in career education, workforce development, and innovation pathways.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to assess program effectiveness.
