Responsibilities
- Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
- Lead instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher's existing lesson plans
- Instruct students on classroom topics/courses
- Build positive relationships with students
- Assign reasonable tasks and homework
- Empower students to learn and encourage classroom participation
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
- Adapt to the various learning styles of students
- For long-term assignments, develop lesson plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass OSBI Fingerprint Background for School Employment
