About the position

Kelly Services is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 24/25 School Year in Inola, OK. This role is essential for maintaining continuity in education by stepping in for regular teachers and ensuring that students continue to learn and grow. Substitute Teachers will have the opportunity to mentor students and create a positive learning environment, making a significant impact on their educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Lead instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher's existing lesson plans
• Instruct students on classroom topics/courses
• Build positive relationships with students
• Assign reasonable tasks and homework
• Empower students to learn and encourage classroom participation
• Create a conducive learning environment appropriate to the ability and interests of students
• Adapt to various learning styles of students
• For long-term assignments, develop lesson plans, administer, and grade tests and assignments

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass OSBI Fingerprint Background for School Employment (out-of-pocket, non-refundable expense of $58.25)
