About the position

The Inpatient Department is seeking a Casual/PRN ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a resource status role. This position requires flexibility in hours and shifts based on departmental needs, including weekend and holiday rotations. The RN will be cross-trained to float to other departments within the facility as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required.
• Float to other departments as needed based on cross-training.
• Maintain current nursing practices and standards.
• Complete required certifications and training, including ACLS and ECG classes.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio.
• 1-2 years of ICU experience in an acute care setting required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary for nursing practices.
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN preferred but not required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
