About the position
We are seeking an Inplant Ink Tech for our customer's site. The Inplant Ink Tech will serve as a vital liaison between INX and the customer, ensuring that all ink-related needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around the preparation and management of ink batches, which are crucial for the printing processes at the customer’s facility. You will be responsible for weighing up batches of ink, mixing these batches to meet specific requirements, and coordinating inventory levels to ensure that the press has the necessary supplies at all times. Additionally, you will be tasked with receiving and rotating stock to maintain optimal inventory levels, performing color matching to ensure consistency in production, and conducting inplant maintenance to keep operations running smoothly. The Inplant Ink Tech position is essential for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our ink products in a customer-facing environment. You will work closely with both the INX team and the customer’s staff to ensure that all ink applications meet the required standards. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality, as the inks produced will be used in various applications, including packaging and commercial printing. Your contributions will directly impact the customer’s satisfaction and the overall success of the printing operations.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension and math skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs and other computer skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
