About the position

We are seeking an Inside Business Development Representative-Digital Sales to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving business growth by actively hunting and prospecting for new opportunities, as well as closing sales. Your expertise in the Freight Forwarding industry, combined with your strong communication skills, will enable you to engage potential clients, build relationships, and deliver tailored solutions. As an Inside Business Development Representative, you will proactively hunt and prospect for new business opportunities, cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to identify new business prospects. You will be responsible for closing sales by effectively presenting value propositions, negotiating terms, and securing contracts. Additionally, you will utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports for effective pipeline management. Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt and prospect for new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding unique needs and providing customized solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to identify new business prospects.
  • Close sales by effectively presenting value propositions, negotiating terms, and securing contracts.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports for effective pipeline management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience within the Freight Forwarding/International Supply Chain industry.
  • Proven track record in hunting and prospecting for new business.
  • Ability to successfully close sales and meet or exceed revenue growth and achieving targets.
  • Solid experience using a CRM system as well as MS Office Products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers and successfully close deals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
