About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at North Coast is responsible for supporting sales efforts in the contractor, industrial, and OEM markets. This role involves direct interaction with customers, managing quotations, order entry, and providing proactive customer service. The position emphasizes building strong relationships with vendors and customers while promoting company products to increase market share.

Responsibilities

• Inside/counter sales for contractor, industrial and OEM market.
• Support outside sales with quotations, order entry, tracking, and proactive customer service.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors.
• Commit to a proactive and team approach to sales.
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities.
• Promote DOTP CSG's for increased market share.
• Build relationships with will call customers.
• Maintain daily merchandising display.
• Assist in the warehouse with wire cuts, filling orders, and loading delivery trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the electrical industry.
• Inside sales and/or counter sales experience.
• Customer service focused with a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in using NCE order entry software or willing to learn.
• Computer literate in Adobe, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to utilize the internet for product information from manufacturer websites.
• Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn manufacturer pricing programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the electrical distribution industry.
• Familiarity with solar products and services.
