Inside Machinists are responsible for setting up and machining components using various equipment, including manual and CNC lathes, mills, horizontal boring machines, multi-axis machining centers, and wire EDM. Precision measurement of part dimensions is a critical aspect of the job, along with the completion of both hard-copy and electronic documentation. The role requires individuals to work with minimal supervision and to be adaptable to training on all shifts. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and candidates must practice a "Safety First" mentality at all times. The position also requires the ability to read and interpret mechanical detail drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), G&M codes, and weld joint symbolization. Responsibilities

  • Setup and machine components on manual and CNC lathes, mills, horizontal boring machines, multi-axis machining centers, and wire EDM.
  • Perform precision measurement of part dimensions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or current High School Senior status.
  • 0-5 years of experience with CNC machining setup, programming, or operating machines.
  • Ability to work all shifts as required.
  • Knowledge of reading blueprints.
