About the position

Keter Environmental Services is seeking an Inside Operations Specialist to enhance the efficiency of our waste and recycling programs across various properties. This role is pivotal in managing the daily operations of waste and recycling services, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors. The Inside Operations Specialist will handle incoming calls and emails, ensuring that all waste and recycling needs are met promptly and effectively. This position requires collaboration with multiple departments to drive efficiency objectives and improve the overall customer service experience. The Inside Operations Specialist will be responsible for dispatching hauling services based on a thorough analysis of container history, PSI readings, and tenant changes. This includes coordinating repairs on equipment and managing the placement and removal of temporary roll-off containers. Daily tracking, entry, and evaluation of key operational information are essential tasks, as is building sustainable relationships with customers through effective communication. The role demands quick and efficient work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and follow-through on assignments. Candidates should be prepared to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the waste and recycling program. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for up to three days of remote work each week, and is part of a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive compensation and opportunities for continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily waste and recycling operations remotely at multiple properties.
  • Resolve service issues related to waste and recycling.
  • Dispatch hauling based on analysis of container history and PSI readings.
  • Coordinate and oversee completion of repairs on equipment.
  • Manage placement and removal of temporary roll-off containers.
  • Track, enter, and evaluate key operational information daily.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust through collaborative communication with customers.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and process work orders accurately and timely.
  • Demonstrate excellent follow-through on assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred and/or 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Professional email and phone etiquette with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Ability to multi-task and react well under pressure.
  • Good time management skills to prioritize and plan work activities.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
