About the position

The Inside Sales Representative role is focused on engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that drive sales. This position requires effective communication and relationship-building skills to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via phone and in-person to understand their needs and provide product recommendations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise junior staff or interns as needed, providing guidance and support in sales techniques.
  • Stay informed about product offerings, market trends, and competitor activities to enhance selling strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles; experience in retail is a plus.
  • Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
  • A proactive attitude towards selling products and services while maintaining a customer-first approach.
