About the position

The Inside Sales Account Executive role at SumUp is a full-time position based in Denver, Colorado, focused on driving revenue by acquiring new merchants through a consultative sales process. This position involves managing the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to closing, requiring a proactive and self-driven approach in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line revenue by acquiring new merchants
  • Qualify, present, and close new accounts through warm inbound inquiries and additional lead sources
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas month over month
  • Facilitate positive experiences with prospects through expertise in products, systems, and processes
  • Execute a consultative sales process crafted to acquire new merchants nationwide

Requirements

  • Experience in retail, SDR/BRD roles, appointment setting, or customer service
  • Demonstrated understanding of an effective sales process
  • High energy and strong desire to achieve top results
  • Ability to navigate change with a personable, positive attitude
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
  • Ability to demo and present SumUp products
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not mandatory)
