About the position

The Inside Sales Account Manager at Trojan Technologies is responsible for direct sales of parts and services within the municipal water and wastewater markets across the Southeast United States. This role focuses on managing customer relationships throughout the lifecycle of UV systems, from initial engagement to ongoing services and upgrades. The position emphasizes customer experience, teamwork, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and value selling.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads to achieve sales and service targets on existing accounts.
  • Participate in formal proposals, invitations to bid, and manage contractual obligations.
  • Qualify target customers for Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and software-connected opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Account Manager to support transactional sales and manage territory communications.
  • Foster partnerships with customers to expand knowledge and facilitate solutions.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education
  • 3+ years of customer experience in sales and negotiation
  • Proven track record of phone-based selling of products and services
  • Ability to travel within the region
