About the position

As an Inside Sales Account Manager at Focal Pointe Outdoor Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and helping them achieve their landscaping goals. This position involves regular property visits, quality control assessments, and collaboration with clients to facilitate budget meetings and identify improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about high standards and teamwork, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to prestigious properties in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong professional relationships with assigned clients and understand their landcare goals.
• Regularly visit assigned properties to identify and address quality control issues.
• Assess assigned properties for landscaping improvement opportunities and collaborate with designer/estimator to present to clients.
• Facilitate budget meetings with clients to assist with landcare operating and capital improvement budgets.
• Anticipate potential concerns and communicate proactively with clients.
• Look for ways to save clients time and add value beyond the contract.
• Work in partnership with designated Operations Manager to ensure crew members have what they need to succeed.
• Attend client networking events to strengthen relationships within the community.

Requirements

• Experience with commercial account management, property management, or guest services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High emotional IQ with the ability to read people and adapt to their personality.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to work hard and high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to work outdoors and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable with technology and able to learn industry-specific software functions.
• Bachelor's degree or five years of experience in a similar role.
• At least one year of landscape or construction experience.
