About the position

As an Inside Sales Account Manager at Focal Pointe Outdoor Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and ensuring their landscaping needs are met. This position focuses on developing strong professional relationships with clients, understanding their landcare goals, and providing exceptional service to help them achieve those objectives. You will work closely with clients to address quality control issues, identify landscaping improvement opportunities, and facilitate budget discussions, all while representing the company’s commitment to high standards and quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong professional relationships with assigned clients and understand their landcare goals.
  • Regularly visit assigned properties to identify and address quality control issues.
  • Assess assigned properties for landscaping improvement opportunities and collaborate with designers/estimators to present options to clients.
  • Facilitate budget meetings with clients to assist with landcare operating and capital improvement budgets.
  • Anticipate potential concerns and communicate proactively with clients.
  • Look for ways to save clients time and add value beyond the contract.
  • Work in partnership with the designated Operations Manager to ensure crew members have what they need to succeed.
  • Attend client networking events to strengthen community relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of experience in a similar role.
  • At least one year of experience in landscape or construction.
  • Two years of account management experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability to different personalities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn industry-specific software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and another language.
  • Experience in commercial account management, property management, or guest services.
